About Us
ANDEALPA is a premium garment brand rooted in the Peruvian Andes. We work with alpaca and vicuña, two of the world's most exceptional natural fibers, crafting pieces built for longevity in quality and design. Every part of how we operate, from sourcing to production, is built to close the circle: generating real impact for the communities and ecosystems in Peru that make what we do possible.
ANDEALPA is incorporated in Madrid, with production rooted in the Peruvian Andes. We work with certified factories in Peru that meet the highest standards for quality, craftsmanship, and responsible production. While we are a global brand, everything we make traces back to one place: the Andes.
Responsibility starts at the source. Alpaca and vicuña are naturally low-impact animals. They require less water, cause less soil erosion, and produce fiber that needs minimal chemical processing. We work only with certified partners, holding RAS, OEKO-TEX, CITES, and Biotrade Peru certifications. We reinvest 1% of every sale into social and environmental programs in the Andean communities where our fibers originate.
Protect The Andes is our commitment to the ecosystem and communities behind every garment. The Andes is not a backdrop, it is the origin of everything we make. Preserving it is inseparable from how we operate.
We grow intentionally. Long-term partnerships, responsible production, and investing back into the communities we source from are not secondary to our business, they are the business. Scale without that foundation is not something we pursue.

Product CARe
Alpaca and vicuña are naturally durable fibers, but the right care extends that longevity significantly. Visit our Care Guide for full instructions on washing, drying, storing, and maintaining your garments.
animal welfare & Safety
No. Fiber is obtained exclusively through shearing, a process that does not harm the animal. Alpacas and vicuñas are never injured or killed for their fiber.
Yes. Shearing is a natural and necessary process that keeps animals healthy and comfortable. All shearing is carried out by trained professionals under the Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS), which sets strict requirements for animal handling and welfare throughout the entire supply chain.
Vicuña is one of the most protected fibers in the world. Shearing takes place only during authorized, community-led events in Peru under government supervision and is governed internationally by CITES, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species. We hold CITES certification, ensuring every gram of vicuña fiber we use is fully traceable and legally sourced.
Yes. We work exclusively with certified partners that comply with the Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS) and hold OEKO-TEX and Biotrade Peru certifications. These are not self-declarations, they are independently verified standards.
In the Andes, alpacas and vicuñas are not commodities. They are central to the culture, economy, and ecosystem of the communities we work with. Their well-being is inseparable from ours.
